Acumatica Legacy Acumatica Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2021 2021
In 2021, Discover Echo implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP. The deployment focused on the companys San Diego fulfillment operation and was driven by a Fulfillment Manager who led Acumatica integration projects from November 2021 to April 2022. The implementation was positioned to support fulfillment, inventory control and financial transaction processing under the ERP Financial category. Configuration centered on order entry and order-to-cash workflows, inventory management, pick ticket generation and shipping transaction processing within Acumatica Cloud ERP. The implementation included ERP transaction handling used by shipping and receiving staff and training programs for personnel on order entry, domestic shipping and international shipping processes. Financial and inventory ledgers were configured to align operational picking and shipping activities with accounting records, reflecting standard ERP Financial control patterns. Integrations were orchestrated to connect Acumatica Cloud ERP to external shipping partners for parcel and freight, and to operational touchpoints including sales force communications and customer order tracking. The Fulfillment Manager claimed ownership of end-to-end fulfillment integration, negotiating terms with shipping partners and ensuring that international trade regulations and laws were adhered to during cross-border transactions. Warehouse-level inventory systems and physical storage monitoring were tied to Acumatica transaction flows to ensure pick, pack and ship activities updated inventory records. Governance work included developing and implementing standard operating procedures for fulfillment processes, delivering training, supervising shipping and receiving staff, and instituting weekly operational reporting. The team used Acumatica Cloud ERP as the system of record for tracking orders through the fulfillment process, and process improvement initiatives were driven from ongoing operational analysis and SOP enforcement. The scope of the implementation explicitly impacted fulfillment, shipping, inventory management and customer service functions at the Discover Echo San Diego site.
