| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2012 | 2013 |
In 2012, Dish Network implemented Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable as part of an AP Automation deployment within its enterprise financial stack. The work was executed against Oracle e-Business Suite R12 infrastructure and targeted core finance functions including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Sub-Ledger Accounting.
Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable configuration emphasized invoice processing, voucher management, automated matching, procure to pay controls and invoice validation workflows. The implementation incorporated functional design, detailed requirements documentation, process mapping and end user testing in dedicated test and production environments to stabilize AP transaction processing and exception handling.
Integration scope included billing system interfaces such as CSG and Amdocs and EDI transaction sets 850, 855 and 810 to align supplier invoices and billing feeds into Accounts Payable, with downstream posting to GL and sub ledger accounting. Operational coverage centered on finance and procurement teams, aligning AP workflows with billing, fixed asset accounting and accounts receivable reconciliation.
Governance and delivery followed Software Development Life Cycle practices including Waterfall and Agile approaches for project tracking, issue management and controlled rollouts. The Oracle ERP Functional Analyst role coordinated requirements, served as liaison between functional and technical resources, led process improvements, managed status reporting and issue resolution, supported user training and contributed to GRC alignment using Oracle CCG.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017 Dish Network implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management to address Absence and Leave Management within its HR technology estate. The Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management deployment was executed as part of a broader Oracle HCM Cloud rollout that included Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, Core HR, HR Help Desk, and Oracle Recruiting Cloud, aligning the absence and leave domain with core HR data in a cloud HCM architecture.
The implementation scope was led by an HR Operations Manager who served as project manager and managed a team of six analysts during configuration and change management. Configuration work included Core HR and Absence modules, Benefits and Compensation setup, HR Helpdesk workflows, and Oracle Recruiting Cloud components, with practical configuration and data handling using HDL and HSDL, workflow orchestration via BPM Worklist, and operational reporting delivered with BIP reporting.
Integrations and data flows focused on HCM data loading and workflow integration, leveraging HDL and HSDL for bulk imports and BPM Worklist for approval routing, while BIP reporting provided consolidated absence and workforce reports. Operational coverage extended across DISH HR operations and the company population of 23,000 plus employees and contractors, positioning absence management within the enterprise HR service footprint.
Governance and process transformation accompanied the technical rollout, including formal change management activities and a redesigned HR Service Delivery Model intended to drive more strategic HR decision making. Contract renewal and ongoing vendor relationship management were handled as part of program governance, with the implementation framed around Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management and the Absence and Leave Management functional domain.

| Adobe Systems | Legacy | Adobe WorkFront | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Dish Network implemented Adobe WorkFront as a Business Process Management platform to standardize project planning and task prioritization for Manufacturing & Distribution IT work. Adobe WorkFront was used to create and maintain project plans for new development, production support, and user acceptance testing related to MNet, QNet, Amdocs Clarify and other custom manufacturing applications.
The implementation centralized project management activities for the Manufacturing IT team, with configuration focused on prioritized task lists, resource assignments, and a formalized testing role. The deployment included operational capabilities such as scheduled project plans, weekly SCR meetings to govern short cycle releases, and system monitoring enhancements including automated queue warnings to surface operational issues earlier.
Operational coverage explicitly tied WorkFront plans to development and production support of MNet, QNet and Amdocs Clarify, and a pilot with the Big Data Analytics team was initiated to feed statistical modeling decisions into operational workflows. The pilot examined whether to continue issuing UPS call tags and was executed alongside the WorkFront-managed project plan for cross-team coordination.
Governance changes included redistribution of responsibilities across the Manufacturing IT team, establishment of a dedicated testing role, and formal liaison activities with Corporate IT to drive prototypes and root cause analysis. The Analytics pilot outcome was documented as producing a recognized 3 million dollar annual savings, and that outcome was operationalized through the WorkFront project plan and monitoring practices.
