In 2018 Dragon Logistics implemented Oracle IoT Fleet Monitoring Cloud to provide real time visibility and control of its fleet. The Oracle IoT Fleet Monitoring Cloud deployment serves as an IoT Platform ingesting telematics and sensor telemetry across the companys transportation, warehousing, trucks, trailers and waterways operations.
Accelalpha implemented Oracle Transportation Management Cloud alongside Oracle IoT Fleet Monitoring Cloud, applying an accelerated implementation approach that the vendor described as completed in record time. Functional configuration emphasized telemetry ingestion, device onboarding, rule based alerting, vehicle health and diagnostics monitoring, geolocation and route event streaming, and operational dashboards for dispatch and maintenance teams.
Integrations aligned Oracle IoT Fleet Monitoring Cloud with Oracle Transportation Management to surface real time vehicle status into transportation planning and execution workflows, enabling event driven status updates and exception visibility in the execution layer. The architecture was delivered as a cloud native SaaS implementation, with telematics feeds normalized in the IoT Platform for downstream consumption by operations and planning systems.
Governance and process changes centralized fleet operations monitoring and introduced standardized maintenance escalation and exception handling workflows, with Accelalpha consultants supporting configuration and knowledge transfer. The project was part of a group that contributed to Accelalpha earning the Oracle SaaS Partner of the Year 2018 award for supply chain management solutions in Vietnam.
