In 2022, Dukathole Group implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP, an ERP Financial solution, to unify finance and operations across its expanded manufacturing and construction footprint. The deployment was delivered by QEDO and followed a failed Sage implementation, consolidating multiple sites and three acquisitions into a single cloud-based application suite.
Acumatica Cloud ERP was provisioned using the Acumatica Manufacturing Edition with Advanced Financials, Intercompany Accounting, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Ordering Management Distribution, Warehouse Management, Project Accounting, CRM, Portals for CRM, Outlook Integration, MRP, Planning and Scheduling, Field Service Management, Equipment Management, and Point of Sale Acumatica POS. Configuration emphasized intercompany accounting and project accounting to support consolidated financial reporting and to enable the new construction business line alongside brick manufacturing.
The architecture used a unified cloud platform to provide real-time access to production, inventory, sales and financial data across Queenstown, Laman, Herschel and other acquired sites. Integrations called out in the implementation include Outlook Integration and customer portals, and the solution includes push notification capabilities for delivery communications and Acumatica POS for on-site transactions.
Governance and operational changes focused on centralizing financial reporting, inventory controls and production cost-center visibility, with QEDO supporting rollout and training. Explicit outcomes reported include accurate financial insight and reporting, real-time data that supported integration and returning profitability for three acquisitions, discovery of inventory misuse and improved transparency, faster onboarding and productivity for new employees, improved production data for cost center management, enhanced customer delivery notifications, and use of projects functionality to expand into construction and support on-time, in-budget home building.
