In 2010, Ego Pharmaceuticals implemented SAP Business All-In-One as its ERP Financial solution. The decision followed a multi-year recognition of the need for a modern ERP, which had been deprioritized while operational imperatives were addressed, and was catalyzed when Clarity proposed a Value Engineering exercise to build a business case for SAP Business All-In-One.
The implementation configured core financial management capabilities consistent with ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and consolidated financial reporting. SAP Business All-In-One was deployed in tandem with SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence, with the BusinessObjects layer used to centralize reporting and analytics across the financial footprint.
Project governance used the Value Engineering outputs to define scope, resourcing and rollout sequencing, focusing on finance and corporate functions across Ego Pharmaceuticals operations. The combined SAP Business All-In-One and SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence implementation is projected to provide savings of $100k per month, equating to an internal rate of return of 92.4 per cent over a five year period.

| ADP | Legacy | ADP PayForce | Payroll | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015 Ego Pharmaceuticals implemented ADP PayForce for Payroll across its Australian and international operations. The deployment managed Australia wide payrolls for a workforce of approximately 566 employees, operating fortnightly payroll for 115 EBA employees and monthly payroll for 205 employees through ADP PayForce, while ADP Streamline was used for monthly international payrolls in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
ADP PayForce was configured to run fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles, distribute payslips, process terminations, calculate retro backpays, and execute off-cycle manual pays. Time and attendance for fortnightly EBA employees was maintained in EzLabor and fed hours and leave data into ADP PayForce, with leave liability and payroll journals produced for posting to SAP at end of month.
The implementation included operational integrations with HSBC online banking for EFT salary payments and PAYE remittances, transmission of employer SGC and salary sacrifice contributions via ANZ OnePath Super, and end of month journal posting and reconciliation to SAP for payroll and vendor invoices. International payroll operations used ADP Streamline and Payroll Production Control processes, with coordination with payroll partners Tricor in Malaysia, I-Admin in Hong Kong and Payroll Serve in Singapore, and local statutory submissions such as SOCSO, EPF and tax filings executed according to each jurisdiction.
Payroll Production Control workflows standardized monthly runs and reconciliation activities, including reconciling payroll clearing accounts to the general ledger, running leave liability reports for annual leave and long service leave, and posting journals to SAP at month end. Middle East payroll processing covered Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, requiring currency conversion to US Dollar or UAE Dirham, payment of salary and housing car and phone allowances via HSBC or to regional vendor accounts, and posting vendor invoices to SAP.
Ongoing ADP PayForce maintenance included creating ADP self service login accounts, entering new employees, manual leave entry and cancellation, projecting annual leave, calculating and processing workers compensation and termination payments, and administering Centrelink Paid Parental Leave and maternity leave. The payroll team also prepared EOFY perquisite and benefit in kind details for international partners and provided employee support for payroll enquiries.

In 2010, Ego Pharmaceuticals implemented SAP BusinessObjects as its Analytics and BI platform. The deployment of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence was executed in parallel with a business case effort for SAP Business All-in-One, positioning SAP BusinessObjects as the centralized Analytics and BI layer for enterprise reporting and decision support.
Clarity led a Value Engineering exercise to quantify benefits and to develop the business case for the SAP Business All-in-One program, which supported the concurrent rollout of SAP BusinessObjects. The implementation emphasized core Business Intelligence capabilities including consolidated reporting, interactive dashboards and ad hoc analysis to standardize metrics across finance and operational management. The Value Engineering outputs informed governance and rollout prioritization, and the combined program projected savings of $100k per month, equating to an internal rate of return of 92.4 per cent over a five year period.
