In 2018, Electromag Mabuchi implemented SAP Business One to address document and component traceability and to centralize financial control. The small Swiss micromotor manufacturer selected SAP Business One for ERP Financial coverage to consolidate inventory management, transactional recording, and accurate financial reporting during a period of sustained growth.
Agentil configured SAP Business One to establish core inventory and finance workflows, implementing inventory management and stock transfer capabilities, consolidated master data, and document level component traceability. The implementation emphasized transaction level recording to replace spreadsheet based stock and transfer processes and to provide consistent, auditable records for production and engineering components.
Operational integration focused on unifying finance and operational data, moving previously non integrated financial information into SAP Business One and enabling real time data access for production, warehouse, and finance functions. The scope covered manufacturing operations tied to traceability requirements, inventory control, and month end financial consolidation within the SAP Business One environment.
Agentil led the rollout with process reengineering to capture traceability and to standardize workflows across shop floor, warehouse, and accounting touch points, accompanied by operational training and configuration governance. Outcomes called out by the customer include ensured document and component traceability, access to real time data, accurate financial reporting, and improved efficiency and productivity after the SAP Business One deployment.
