In 2015 Empower Energy Solutions implemented Oracle E-Business Suite for ERP Financial functions across its Dubai operations, configuring Release 12.2.4 to address HR and payroll requirements under UAE legislation. Oracle E-Business Suite was implemented to provide core HR, payroll, self-service and PMS capabilities aligned to local statutory needs.
The implementation covered Oracle Human Resource, Oracle Payroll, Self Service and PMS modules, with a functional consultant and module lead heading a three-person team made up of one additional functional consultant and two technical consultants. Responsibilities included AS-IS process capture, requirement analysis, mapping business processes to Oracle E-Business Suite functionality, preparing TA040, BP80, MD050 and BR100 documentation, and conducting design walkthroughs, Conference Room Pilots and unit testing.
Technical and conversion specifications were prepared to extract and transform data from existing source systems into Oracle Payroll, supported by SQL Developer, Toad and AME for rule configuration. GAP/FIT analysis identified required customizations and workarounds, process flows were designed in MS Visio and validated through workshops to obtain formal sign-off, and payroll configuration workstreams included mapping pay elements, payroll processing rules and statutory reporting requirements in line with UAE legislation.
Project governance emphasized formal sign-off on process flows and AIM deliverables, BR100 driven application setup, and cross-functional design review sessions to align business and technical teams. The engagement also included participation in Oracle E-Business Suite upgrade workstreams, reflecting hands-on experience with EBS project and upgrade activities.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo CMMS | Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Empower Energy Solutions implemented IBM Maximo CMMS. The IBM Maximo CMMS deployment was established to provide Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) capabilities across the company maintenance organization, supporting preventive and corrective maintenance execution and emergency response workflows.
Configuration emphasis included work order management and preventive maintenance scheduling to execute, monitor and control preventive and corrective maintenance programs as described by the Maintenance Supervisor. Inventory and spare parts controls were implemented using ABC analysis and reorder logic including reorder levels and order quantities to maintain optimum inventory levels and safety stock, and workflows were used to track vendor deliveries.
Operational modules also encompassed contractor management and project closeout capabilities, enabling preparation of scopes of work, compliance documentation, evaluation of technical submittals, snagging closure and asset integrity verification. Financial controls for budgeting and costing were configured to capture capital and operational expenditure planning for new financial years, and HSE controls were embedded in work order and permit-to-work processes to enforce lockout-tag-out procedures, PPE, hot work, confined space and fall restraint safeguards.
Day to day operational coverage includes maintenance supervisors, direct reports and skilled trades teams, contractor coordination and interactions with external authorities, together with training requirement tracking for maintenance personnel. The Maintenance Supervisor has used IBM Maximo CMMS since November 2019 to manage planning strategy, inventory, contractor oversight and compliance, reflecting ongoing operational use within Empower Energy Solutions.
