| Tungsten Automation | Legacy | Kofax MarkView | AP Automation | ERP | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Enbridge deployed Kofax MarkView to automate accounts payable workflows as part of its AP Automation initiative. The Kofax MarkView implementation was positioned to centralize invoice intake and control invoice processing for procurement and contractor payments supporting Station Operations and related finance teams in the Toronto region.
The Kofax MarkView deployment included standard AP Automation functional modules, configured for invoice capture and OCR, data validation and exception handling, automated routing and approvals, PO and non PO invoice matching, electronic archival, and audit trail management. Kofax MarkView served as the primary engine for document capture and workflow orchestration, integrating capture outputs with downstream validation and approval rules aligned to procurement controls and budget checks.
Implementation included technical integration with Enbridge financial tooling explicitly referenced in the application estate, with Kofax MarkView linked into Oracle financial systems and Enbridge iExpense records, while operating alongside SAP, Workday, Maximo, and other operational systems used by Station Operations. The integration approach supported routing of invoices tied to work orders and contractor sites, enabling invoice context from asset and service records in Maximo and MyService to travel with transactions through the AP Automation flow.
Governance and process changes centered on aligning Kofax MarkView workflows with existing procurement processes such as RFQ and RFP approval paths, contractor payment approvals, and budget authorization steps used by Station Operations. Rollout emphasized role based approval routing, exception resolution procedures, and training for finance and operations staff to ensure invoices for contractor and site work were processed in compliance with Enbridge policies, regulatory controls, and QA processes.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Enbridge implemented Workday Absence Management in the Absence and Leave Management category as part of a Phase I Workday deployment. The Phase I project migrated an 8000 plus workforce in Canada and the United States from PeopleSoft 9.0 to Workday and covered a functional portfolio including HCM, Benefits, Recruitment, Core Talent, Performance, Succession, Pay, TL, Absence, and Compensation.
Business analysts and functional analysts led the gathering and documentation of all artifacts related to the functional portfolio business requirements, and configured annual cycle templates and business processes for Goal Setting, Individual Development Plan, Mid Year and Year End with full integration through to Compensation. Core Talent capabilities were configured to support Talent 9box, Year End Calibration, Succession Planning, Talent Pools and Feedback, with Workday Absence Management aligned to these talent and compensation cycles.
Technical implementation included development of custom Workday reports and EIB integrations to support the talent cycle and to move absence, payroll and talent data between modules. Workday Absence Management was provisioned within the broader Workday tenant configurations to ensure consistent absence plan definitions, eligibility rules and reporting for the Canada and United States employee population.
Governance centered on BA/FA ownership of requirements and centralized documentation of functional artifacts, enabling phased rollout controls for the Phase I scope. Operational coverage emphasized HR, Talent, Payroll and Benefits functions, with business process rework to embed goal setting, calibration and year-end workflows alongside absence and compensation processes.

| Copperleaf | Legacy | Copperleaf Asset Investment Planning & Management | Asset Performance Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Enbridge implemented Copperleaf Asset Investment Planning & Management. This deployment was executed as an enterprise Asset Performance Management initiative supporting geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams across Enbridge business units in Canada and USA.
The implementation centered on configuring Copperleaf Asset Investment Planning & Management to support enterprise investment planning and the development of probabilistic asset condition models. The program led a transformational change project focused on probabilistic asset condition model development to inform risk-based investment scenarios and long term capital planning. Business processes were redesigned to meet enterprise asset management objectives aligned to ISO 55000.
Operational coverage spanned asset management, engineering, planning and finance stakeholders across regional business units, with the Copperleaf system used to standardize investment decisioning and scenario modeling workflows. The deployment emphasized portfolio-level investment prioritization and condition-driven planning as core functional capabilities of the Asset Performance Management solution, and incorporated configuration patterns suited to a geographically distributed environment.
Governance work included designing and implementing a business process management framework and instituting BPMN 2.0 standards for enterprise process modeling. As chair of the BPM Governance Committee, the project lead established process standards and oversaw rollout governance for the Copperleaf implementation.
