In 2024, Encore Atlantic Shores deployed Paxton Access Net2 Timesheet as a Time Clock (Hardware) application to centralize access and credential management across its 240-unit residential complex in Eastport, New York. The deployment secured primary entry points including the front and rear gates, clubhouse entrances, and nine controlled doors, supporting more than 500 users and on-site staff for clubhouse and pool management.
CWC Security specified and installed Paxton Access Net2 Timesheet, provisioning Net2 software alongside Net2 Plus in US metal enclosure and a Net2 Plus starter kit for two doors. Configuration work encompassed keyfob credential issuance and programming, schedule and permission setup, temporary access provisioning for seasonal pool use, and relay trigger-and-action configuration to operate gate relays.
The implementation integrated the Net2 environment with the existing video intercom at the front gate so non-resident calls are routed to security and recorded as events within Net2, and the system was administered from one or more central PCs to manage devices across multiple network segments. Site commissioning used the Paxton Installer app to capture product serial numbers and accelerate system commissioning, reducing manual device entry during setup.
Operational governance centered on the Property Manager who administers schedules, transient permissions for non-member pool access, and vendor access using Net2 software, with reporting that records keyfob usage for clubhouse entry. The team reported the solution as user-friendly and customizable, and Encore Atlantic Shores plans phased expansion to add more doors and secure amenities such as tennis courts and interior pools.
