SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2014
In 2013 Entergy Corporation initiated an upgrade program to SAP ERP ECC 6.0, implementing BW 7.3 and SAP GRC as companion components, with the project going live in February 2014. This work targeted the ERP Financial footprint and was delivered as an SAP application landscape enhancement focused on enterprise financial systems. The implementation of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 included configuration of standard ERP Financial capabilities, centered on core financial accounting and controlling workflows. Functional scope emphasized general ledger processing, accounts payable and accounts receivable flows, and cost accounting controls consistent with SAP FI and CO accounting structures, while BW 7.3 was provisioned to support operational reporting and data warehousing. Architecturally the deployment established an integrated ECC application layer feeding a BW reporting layer, with SAP GRC introduced to centralize access control and compliance monitoring for finance users. Data extraction and reconciliation between ECC and BW were implemented using SAP reporting and ETL mechanisms common to SAP landscapes, organizing transactional and analytical processing across the finance stack. Project governance was run under a Sr IT Project Manager from March 2013 through February 2014, coordinating configuration, testing, and the February 2014 go live. Operational coverage focused on the corporate finance organization, with processes and role based access controls realigned through the GRC implementation to support financial governance and auditability.

Rakuna Legacy Rakuna ATS Applicant Tracking System HCM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Entergy Corporation deployed Rakuna ATS for campus, military, and diversity recruiting across the United States. The Applicant Tracking System implementation was led by Entergy's Talent Acquisition team to replace paper-based processes and to manage approximately 4,200 prospects captured at roughly 100 events that year. Deployment emphasized event-based capture at university career fairs, military hiring events, and diversity programs, centralizing prospect intake to eliminate time-consuming scanning and manual data entry. The project positioned Rakuna ATS as the primary source for candidate contact and event activity data during recruiting cycles. Implementation focused on the Rakuna Event & Campus Recruiting/ATS modules, configuring event check-in, mobile resume capture, and candidate record creation to mirror campus recruiting workflows. Configurations standardized data fields and tagging for military and diversity cohorts, enabling consistent candidate profiles and faster routing to hiring managers. The system supported immediate sharing of captured candidate information with hiring teams, reducing manual handoffs and improving the speed of information distribution. Rollout was operationalized through a series of event-ready deployments across targeted recruiting schedules, with Talent Acquisition adopting standardized event procedures and data governance for prospect handling. Outcomes reported in the case study include faster information sharing with hiring managers and reduced manual work, with explicit elimination of scanning and manual data entry.
