In 2020, AXA US implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform to consolidate subledger and product-level accounting. The deployment centered on embedding SAP S/4 HANA with Financial Products Subledger capabilities to support finance, commissions, prelim accounting, and reinsurance accounting across its US operations. AXA US SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial implementation focused on subledger accuracy and structured data ingestion for product contracts and business transactions.
The project delivered a heavy configuration of FPSL Financial Products Subledger within SAP S/4 HANA, including contract, bank account, preload, and error handling flowgraphs. Engineers created Contract Flowgraphs with contract creation logic derived from BALBOOK, ACCOUNT, Legal Entity, Fund Family, SL Account, distribution channel, and issuing company master data lookups. Bank Account Flowgraphs applied PS/S4 mapping table rule 16 to determine cash versus insurance accounts, while preload flowgraphs used translation table rule 27 and rule 29 to classify journals as Prelim or Non-Prelim.
Integrations and data movement were implemented at the file and database layer, migrating transactional and master data from roughly seventy standalone source systems such as Life70, LIFECOM, Andesa, Paris, Vantage, and Comanche into FPSL. Development used HANA WEBID to build flowgraphs, procedures, replication tasks, and real time jobs, and created configuration files to provision virtual tables in a landing zone for file-to-staging loads. File archive procedures were invoked within flowgraphs to move source files to archive folders after staging loads, and replication tasks supported near real time staging.
Governance and operational controls were formalized through ERH Error Handling Flowgraphs to capture error contracts and business transactions, and through data retention procedures that moved data from main tables to backup tables based on retention rules. The implementation included discrete flows for Admin, Commissions, EZ, LPL Burgundy, Prelim, and reinsurance to isolate business function migrations and maintain clear reconciliation paths. SAP S/4 HANA served as the ERP Financial backbone, with FPSL and associated flowgraph orchestration defining the implemented governance, data lineage, and ongoing operational processes.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2019 | 2021 |
In 2019, AXA Equitable Holdings implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation as part of a broader effort to establish a local Oracle HCM platform to support its post IPO People Strategy. The program followed a December 2018 purchase of multiple Oracle modules, and the organization planned a phased rollout across 2019 through 2021 using a combination of agile and waterfall implementation methodologies.
The implementation scope centered on Core HR, Career Development, Performance Management and Goal Management, Compensation, Recruiting Cloud, and the Enterprise Edition Platform as a Service. Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation was configured to align compensation planning with talent review and succession workflows, and to integrate compensation processes with career development and performance goal management for US talent programs.
Integrations were explicitly planned with Cornerstone for learning and with Towers for performance processes, enabling a hybrid application ecosystem where Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation operated alongside third party learning and performance systems. Operational coverage focused on US Talent Review, Succession, and Recruiting functions, with the Compensation Management capability serving HR, talent, and recruiting teams across the enterprise.
Governance and delivery emphasized voice of customer design, with responsive sales and implementation support reported during deployment, and reliance on quarterly Oracle platform updates for ongoing feature delivery. Stated risks and constraints included perceived service desk friction, contract inflexibility, and cost concerns, while stated desired outcomes included increasing quality of new hires, raising percent to hire, reducing employee turnover, improving employee and HR administration productivity, enhancing compliance oversight, and delivering deeper workforce insights.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Concur Travel | Travel Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, AXA US implemented SAP Concur Travel to support corporate travel for its field sales and wholesaling organization. The deployment targeted Regional VP and External Wholesaler roles across United States locations including Pennsylvania Philadelphia, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and Washington DC, aligning Travel Management with sales mobility requirements.
The SAP Concur Travel implementation configured core Travel Management capabilities, including corporate booking workflows, traveler profiles and itinerary management, policy enforcement and approval routing for trip authorization. Configuration emphasized mobile access and user profiles for high frequency travelers given extensive travel expectations for the sales organization.
Operationally the system was positioned alongside Salesforce CRM and finance systems used by the sales and finance teams, enabling shared operational use of traveler identity and expense adjacency without asserting a specific technical integration. The deployment scope covered sales operations, finance and compliance functions that administer travel policy, approvals and expense reconciliation processes.
Governance centered on enforcing travel policy, role based approvers and training for sales teams who travel extensively, with process changes to standardize trip approvals and itinerary reporting for regulatory and internal compliance. AXA US SAP Concur Travel Travel Management supports the business functions of corporate travel, sales enablement and expense control for its field sales organization.
