The deployment emphasized invoice capture, validation and exception routing consistent with AR Automation functional patterns, and used configurable workflow rules to align processing across business units.
Operational coverage focused on finance, procurement and accounts payable domains that spanned the companys different ERP instances, requiring integration points into those systems for invoice posting and status reconciliation. Supplier engagement was a core integration and operational activity, with the platform acting as the digital touchpoint for suppliers to submit invoices electronically into Eramets processing pipelines.
Governance emphasized change management and supplier enrollment to overcome initial internal resistance, and rollout cadence was accelerated in response to the COVID-19 pandemic as suppliers proactively adopted electronic invoicing. Eramet reported that the accelerated supplier adoption and internal deployment sped up the transition by weeks, validating the AR Automation deployment of Tradeshift E-invoicing against the organizations stated objectives.
