IBM Maximo was operated to record approvals and orchestrate maintenance tasking while connectivity and location resources were established for migrating server assets.
Governance workflows in IBM Maximo incorporated role based approvals for facility management Method of Procedures in critical environments, reflecting the lab manager role as approver. The application was used to assign and track work orders tied to budgeting for maintenance, repairs, and construction needs, supporting operational control over facilities spend and execution.
Implementation and operation of IBM Maximo in this Enterprise Asset Management role was part of broader data center operational controls, including permit management for on site power generation and negotiation with third party providers as documented in operational notes. The feasibility study and active use of IBM Maximo were recorded during the 2013 to 2016 period, with IBM Maximo serving as the central asset management platform for data center facilities management.
