SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Compensation Management HCM n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Etex Group implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a global deployment of the full SAP SuccessFactors suite, covering Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Recruitment, Succession, Compensation & Variable Pay and Learning Management. The implementation targeted standardized, global Compensation Management processes across the company, aligning compensation planning with broader talent and HR workflows. SAP SuccessFactors Compensation was configured to support compensation planning cycles and variable pay programs, leveraging standard Compensation Management capabilities such as calibrated merit and bonus planning, budget modeling, and manager self service for award recommendations. The Compensation and Variable Pay module was functionally integrated with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central for HR master data and position information, and with Performance & Goals for performance linked pay decisions, reflecting typical end to end compensation workflows. The program was executed as a global suite rollout covering HR, talent management and total rewards functions, with explicit ties into Recruitment and Succession workflows to inform pay decisions and talent mobility. Consulting services from Emeritis provided Recruitment Process Design and produced detailed training and change materials, supporting the new way of working and preparing managers and HR teams for structured compensation cycles. Governance and operating model changes were instituted to centralize compensation policy controls and to standardize approval and calibration workflows, supported by the configured SAP SuccessFactors Compensation module and the training materials delivered by Emeritis. The initiative emphasized process standardization, role based approvals and change enablement to operationalize centralized Compensation Management across Etex Group.
