| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Expeditors implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial application. The initial engagement focused on supporting distribution and transportation business functions, aligning financial processes with operational order and warehouse workflows.
Implementation scope included Order Management, Configuration, Inventory, Purchase Order, i-Procurement and Warehouse Management System functional modules within Oracle E-Business Suite R12, with configuration, business process mapping and end to end testing conducted as core activities. Teams performed baseline speed testing for WMS functions, validated ERP process flows across distribution centers, and authored standard operating procedures to govern warehouse and outbound receiving operations.
The rollout integrated with existing transportation and order systems, explicitly including Blue Yonder TMS for load execution and monitoring, and Manhattan OMS where data attributes from ATG were documented to preserve order lifecycle visibility. An Oracle database was used as a data warehouse, with schema management tasks for tables, indexes and materialized views, and efforts to consolidate data from multiple sources into data marts and a warehouse environment hosted on Azure.
Program governance combined daily operational monitoring, weekly executive recaps and ongoing user support, with Agile delivery practices applied to the data warehouse and ERP configuration work. Business analysts identified process deficiencies and implemented technology driven solutions to reduce human related errors, acted as liaisons between operations and development, and maintained operational ownership of testing, validation and post implementation support for Oracle E-Business Suite.

| Dayforce | Legacy | Ceridian Dayforce HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Expeditors implemented Ceridian Dayforce HCM as its Core HR system. The deployment centralized employee master records and benefits administration for an organization of roughly 19,666 employees and a benefits population exceeding 15,000 lives, with benefits administration activity covering more than 35 states. Internal HRIS and benefits leadership served as implementation leads during the rollout, embedding Ceridian Dayforce HCM into core HR operations.
Ceridian Dayforce HCM configuration emphasized benefits administration modules, ACA and 1095-C reporting workflows, COBRA and ERISA compliance handling, and billing and eligibility management. The implementation incorporated HRIS case management capabilities to track issues, maintain functional operations, and support renewals across health, dental, vision, stop loss and other plans. These functional workflows supported centralized vendor relationship processes and benefit renewal analysis performed by the internal benefits team.
Operational coverage included Employee Relations and Benefits teams, with system use spanning enrollment, eligibility maintenance, billing reconciliation, and compliance reporting for group health, short and long term disability, HSA and DC FSA accounts, voluntary products, commuter benefits, long term care and a 401k plan. Ceridian Dayforce HCM served as the Core HR platform to institutionalize administrative controls and day to day benefits processing. The system was instrumental in standardizing 1095-C auditing and PPACA administration across the covered states.
Governance adjustments emphasized HRIS case management, centralized vendor oversight, and designated benefits leads managing direct reports to sustain system configuration and compliance. Internal teams continued to own policy administration, communications, and daily benefits program operations through the Ceridian Dayforce HCM environment.
