In 2010, FLSmidth implemented Epicor ERP 10. Epicor ERP 10 is deployed as part of FLSmidth's ERP Financial strategy and was selected alongside Oracle EBS, with a coordinated global rollout of both Epicor and Oracle underway as part of the Group business solution.
The Epicor ERP 10 implementation focused on core ERP Financial capabilities, with configuration work aligned to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, and financial reporting to support project and plant accounting for cement and minerals operations. FLSmidth Epicor ERP 10 ERP Financial supports finance and project accounting workflows that map to the companys equipment supply, plant construction, and services before during and after construction.
Operational coverage for the Epicor deployment includes regional implementations across Chile, Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Thailand, with deployment architecture organized to align regional finance processes and transactional handoffs between project delivery and corporate finance. The rollout emphasized regional operational alignment to manufacturing sites and minerals processing facilities rather than single-site standalone deployments.
Governance was managed through the Group business solution program, operating a dual global ERP strategy with Epicor and Oracle EBS running as complementary platforms while streamlining processes. Implementation activities included configuration, testing, and handholding support during rollout to drive consistent finance controls and project accounting practices across the covered geographies.

| The Access Group | Legacy | Access MicrOpay (ex Sage MicrOpay) | Payroll | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2018 |
In 2017, FLSmidth deployed Access MicrOpay (ex Sage MicrOpay) to manage Payroll processing for short term contract workers at its Brisbane QLD site. The implementation supported weekly and fortnightly pay cycles and was operated during October 2017 to November 2017 by a temporary Payroll Officer.
Access MicrOpay delivered core Payroll modules including employee master data, pay run scheduling for weekly and fortnightly cycles, earnings and deductions configuration, statutory tax withholding and reporting workflows. Configuration emphasized rapid onboarding of short term contract records, pay element templates and automated calculation routines consistent with Payroll application capabilities.
The deployment included integration with ConnX for payroll data exchange, enabling transfer of workforce and timesheet data into Access MicrOpay for processing. Operational coverage was limited to payroll operations in Brisbane QLD for short duration contracts, with the Payroll Officer executing pay runs, data reconciliation and submission of statutory reporting outputs.
Governance centered on role based processing controls and a compact approval cadence to accommodate both weekly and fortnightly cycles for temporary staff. The implementation reflects a focused Payroll orchestration effort using Access MicrOpay and ConnX to centralize pay run execution and data exchange for contract payroll.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 FLSmidth implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management application. The deployment targeted mechanical maintenance operations where prep engineers used IBM Maximo from March 2016 to April 2020 to identify spare parts, order and validate replacement parts, and plan mechanical maintenance activities. Operational scope included coordination with department heads and the preparation of the annual maintenance budget, aligning maintenance planning with departmental approval processes.
IBM Maximo was configured to manage asset and work order records, spare parts inventory and procurement workflows, maintenance planning and scheduling, and documentation of required procedures, materials, tools and equipment. Functional capabilities implemented included work order creation and assignment, parts requisition and validation workflows, planner-to-execution handoffs, and maintenance task documentation to ensure correct procedures and materials were identified and available.
Governance emphasized agreement and coordination with department heads and role-based responsibilities for prep engineers within maintenance planning and execution teams. The implementation narrative centers on IBM Maximo supporting the mechanical maintenance function at FLSmidth under the Enterprise Asset Management category, embedding approval workflows and annual budget planning into routine maintenance governance.
