In 2017, Falcon Pack implemented SAP S/4 HANA as the enterprise ERP Financial backbone supporting its manufacturing and distribution operations across the United Arab Emirates and GCC. The deployment targeted the Supply Chain department and was active from October 8, 2017 to date, positioning SAP S/4 HANA to unify transactional finance and operational inventory workflows for a company that manufacturers and distributes food packaging products.
The implementation workstream included Materials Management configuration, where the team member contributed to MM set-up to align procurement, inventory control, and material master processes with ERP Financial controls. The project emphasized master data hygiene, purchase to pay alignment, and inventory valuation workflows as part of SAP S/4 HANA configuration to ensure finance and supply chain records were reconciled within the same application platform.
Operational integrations were executed with warehouse systems, notably a Project WMS and WCS implementation in the Umm Al Quwain Central Warehouse, and physical automation projects including a Very Narrow Aisle rack system and Shuttle Orbiter System rack system. SAP S/4 HANA was instrumented to support these warehouse control and management interactions, and configuration work was coordinated alongside shop and warehouse layout design across UAE branches to reflect operational flow changes.
Governance and process change activities were centered in Supply Chain reporting, with direct reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, ongoing monitoring and audit of actual practice, and production of management reports and Excel working files to track adherence.
