| SAP | Microsoft Dynamics NAV | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2013 | 2013 |
In 2013, Faro implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial platform. The deployment migrated financial operations from Microsoft Dynamics NAV and was scoped as a multi-year, multi-currency, multi-language global rollout spanning 30 legal entities and more than 28 offices across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, supported by a program budget exceeding 10 million dollars and an IT organization managing annual budgets over 15 million dollars.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation focused on financial accounting and controlling capabilities common to ERP Financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, statutory reporting, multi-currency accounting, and group consolidation configuration. System configuration emphasized centralized master data, multi-entity chart of accounts alignment, intercompany accounting rules, and localized statutory posting variants to support regional reporting and tax compliance.
Operationally the rollout centralized transaction processing and financial master records across corporate finance and regional accounting teams, enabling consistent period close workflows and consolidated financial reporting across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The implementation was designed to support global statutory reporting and auditability, with configuration to preserve audit trails and to streamline financial close orchestration across the 30 legal entities involved.
Governance was led by a senior IT executive who served as Executive Sponsor and Senior Project Director and who reported into the Global Executive Team. The program executed in phased waves, with Global Design and Americas going live in September 2014, Europe in June 2015, and Asia in September 2015, and governance activities included global standardization, change control, contract negotiation, and controls alignment to support Sarbanes Oxley, FCPA, ISO, and Safe Harbor audit requirements.
The multi-phase SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment completed on time and established a global ERP Financial backbone for Faro, enabling centralized financial processes, standardized accounting practices across legal entities, and documented compliance controls for external and internal audits.

| Workday | Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, Faro implemented Workday Absence Management in a company-wide migration from Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management. The Workday Absence Management deployment was executed as part of a broader Workday HCM program that included Absence and Leave Management alongside core HR and payroll capabilities to consolidate absence, time tracking, payroll and benefits data.
The implementation covered Workday Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management and Recruiting modules. Configuration work included designing and building matrices for enterprise wide HCM, Talent, Payroll, Time and Labor, and Benefits data ingest, plus development of custom and advanced reports using complex calculated fields to support leave policies and absence calculations.
Integrations were developed using Workday EIBs, report-based integrations, Core Connectors and Studio constructs, and tenant-to-tenant activities used Workday Solutions and OX. The project team prepared integration design documents, participated in design reviews, and executed test case preparation and signoffs to align absence and time feeds with payroll and benefits processing.
Governance followed a full cycle implementation approach with design, build, test and deploy phases, supplemented by code reviews to ensure deliverables met specifications and performance expectations. Operational ownership was mapped to HR, Payroll and Talent functions, with rollout coordination driven by the internal HRIS team and business process owners to operationalize Workday Absence Management across the enterprise.
