Integrations were planned between the SAP S/4 HANA finance ledger and operational systems that support manufacturing accounting and global consolidation processes, ensuring transactional finance flows align with plant-level activity across the 159 facilities. The scope included connectivity for order-to-cash and procurement related financial postings, and orchestration of cross-border intercompany accounting to support operations in 40 countries.
Capgemini acted as the system integrator for the rollout, implementing phased regional and functional waves and establishing centralized finance governance, common chart of accounts, and standardized closing procedures. Governance workstreams focused on process standardization, master data controls, and change management to align global finance teams to the new SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial environment.
