Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2003 2003
In 2003, Firmenich implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform to standardize corporate finance operations. The program established a finance backbone intended to deliver consistent accounting, payable and receivable workflows across multiple legal entities. Oracle E-Business Suite modules implemented included Oracle GL, AP, AR, AX when needed, FA, and I-Expenses. Configuration work centered on general ledger design, accounts payable and receivable processing, fixed assets management, and employee expense automation, aligning functional workflows with finance and accounting control requirements. The project managed and implemented the creation and subsequent running of a competency center to support 42 countries that were rolled out during the project. The competency center provided centralized governance, local configuration support, operational runbooks, and ongoing functional support to regional finance teams. Operational scope spanned finance and accounting functions across 42 countries, with the Oracle E-Business Suite serving as the primary ERP Financial system for accounts processing, asset stewardship, and expense management. Governance changes emphasized a centralized support model and standardized financial process ownership for rollout and post-go-live operations.

SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing Candidate Relationship Management HCM n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 Firmenich implemented SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing as its Candidate Relationship Management solution. This deployment was part of a broader SAP SuccessFactors program at Firmenich that included pilot implementations of Performance, Succession, Candidate Relationship and Learning platforms, and it was executed within a post-merger environment where HR led extensive data integration and process transformation activities. The SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing implementation was configured to support candidate pipelining, talent pool segmentation, nurture campaign workflows, career site orchestration and CRM-driven candidate engagement, reflecting standard Candidate Relationship Management functional workflows. Configuration work emphasized CRM workflows, campaign automation and analytics instrumentation to surface recruitment funnel signals for talent acquisition teams. Operationally the rollout targeted global HR and talent acquisition functions and was coordinated by the HR PMO and HR Operations leadership. The program ran alongside the launch of a People Analytics and Predictive platform using Qlik, and HR retained responsibility for cross-system data coordination while operating dual HRIS environments during the merger integration period. The implementation approach was a pilot-first rollout under the stewardship of the backbone team that designed global people processes while still managing separate HR systems. Governance and change management were central to the initiative, with HR leading training programs, stakeholder enablement and process redesign to align recruitment workflows with new CRM capabilities. Firmenich applied PMO controls to monitor pilot progress, identify risks, and scale Recruiting Marketing configuration into broader SuccessFactors usage as part of its global HR operations roadmap.

Fluke Corporation Legacy Fluke eMaint CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Firmenich implemented Fluke eMaint CMMS from Fluke Corporation to centralize maintenance operations. The deployment targeted the maintenance department and is categorized in Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS). The implementation supported site maintenance missions and was scoped to manage supplier orders, equipment emergencies, and the creation of spare parts and equipment records. Fluke eMaint CMMS was configured to manage the full supplier order lifecycle from order creation through invoicing, and to handle equipment emergency work orders for site maintenance teams. Configuration emphasized work order management, asset and equipment records, and cataloging of articles with associated maintenance-related attributes. Staffing workflows were aligned to emergency triage and routine preventive maintenance scheduling consistent with CMMS best practices. Explicit integration points were established between eMaint and SAP for article master synchronization and the management of MRP parameters, supporting a handoff between the CMMS article creation process and SAP-controlled material planning. The integration covered article creation workflows and the transfer of MRP-relevant fields, and it enabled a sequencing of procurement and invoicing processes between maintenance and enterprise resource planning systems. Governance centered on standardized article creation and MRP parameter controls to ensure consistency between eMaint and SAP, and on formalized supplier order and emergency response workflows. Operational ownership was placed with maintenance and procurement stakeholders to manage supplier order approvals, work order triage, and the validation of MRP attributes, creating a controlled process for maintenance-driven material master data and procurement execution.
