Visa Legacy Visa Spend Clarity (ex Fraedom Expense) Expense Management ERP Financial Management n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Fletcher Steel implemented Visa Spend Clarity (ex Fraedom Expense) as its Expense Management platform to consolidate employee card activity and team expense workflows across its New Zealand operations. The deployment positioned Visa Spend Clarity (ex Fraedom Expense) as the primary expense and corporate card reporting engine used by finance, operations and site coordinators, centralizing claim submission, approval routing and card reconciliation in a single application. Configuration work focused on standard Expense Management functional modules including expense claim capture, corporate card reconciliation, multi-level approval workflows, policy enforcement and centralized reporting for finance. The platform was administered by a dedicated team user who maintained configuration, user entitlements and claim workflow rules, while mobile capture and receipt image workflows were tuned for field and site staff to reduce manual paperwork. Operationally the expense platform ran alongside existing procurement and travel tools, with Basware used for purchase order closure and Custom Fleet and FCM handling vehicle and travel bookings, while Visa Spend Clarity (ex Fraedom Expense) managed card and employee expense flows. Concurrent site-level initiatives included a formalized credit and warranty claims process, systematic yard stocktaking with barcode and scanning gun controls, and production quality feedback loops that fed financial crediting and returns workflows. Governance and process changes centralized expense ownership within finance and established structured turnaround targets for credits and returns at manufacturing sites, enabling one-person operational management of crediting tasks and clearer budgeting for claims. The combined tooling and process work supported on-time contractor and transport payments and contributed to fewer customer handling complaints and lower payout volumes as reported during the 2014 to 2018 operational period.

Infor Legacy Infor BPCS Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2012 2012
In 2012 Fletcher Steel implemented Infor BPCS as its Manufacturing ERP. The deployment focused on supporting core manufacturing and finance operations at the company facility in Auckland Penrose, covering finance, accounts and order management workflows for an organization with about 700 employees. Infor BPCS was configured to manage general ledger activities, accounts payable invoice processing, accounts receivable cash application and order status management, with specific configuration for cash sales reconciliation and cost centre assignment for capital projects. Finance users documented routine tasks executed in Infor BPCS, including weekly foreign currency exchange rate updates, leased vehicle FBT reconciliations and allocation of payments to invoices, signaling active use of the system's financial transaction controls. The Infor BPCS implementation operated alongside Basware for invoice processing and used Excel for reconciliation workflows, creating operational interfaces between BPCS transaction records and external tools used by the accounts team. Those interactions supported supplier invoice review and processing, cash sales reconciliations and the organization of customer orders by status, demonstrating integrated finance and order management activity. Governance and operational controls emphasized periodic reconciliation routines, weekly FX maintenance and strict cost centre assignment procedures embedded in accounting workflows, with the finance department accountable for transactional integrity within Infor BPCS. The narrative highlights system-level configuration and day to day operational controls rather than rollout metrics, illustrating how Infor BPCS was embedded into Fletcher Steel's finance and order processes.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft 365 Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Fletcher Steel implemented Microsoft 365 as its primary Collaboration platform. The Microsoft 365 deployment is visible on the company website and supports a New Zealand based manufacturing organization with approximately 700 employees and annual revenue near 150000000. The implementation centers on core Microsoft 365 capabilities typical for Collaboration deployments, including cloud email and calendaring, real time team collaboration, and document management workflows. The organization is using Microsoft 365 to centralize Office productivity, team communication, and file sharing across business functions such as operations, sales, and administration. The deployment is provisioned as a cloud hosted Microsoft 365 tenant, with identity and access management aligned to Azure Active Directory for single sign on and role based access controls. SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business are used for corporate document stores and external content sharing, while Microsoft Teams is used for meetings and persistent collaboration, reflecting category aligned functional modules. The presence of Microsoft 365 artifacts on the public site indicates use of Microsoft 365 hosted services for corporate communication and externally shared documents, and implies tenant level administration and governance. Implementations of this scale typically involve tenant administration via the Microsoft 365 admin center, SharePoint site governance for document lifecycle, and conditional access policies for secure remote access, aligning Fletcher Steel Application Collaboration business functions with cloud first productivity infrastructure.
