Retail Directions was integrated into a broader omnichannel architecture, with explicit integrations to Magento Commerce, Akeneo PIM, Accellos WMS, Emarsys CRM, a centralized data warehouse, an image management system and product lifecycle systems, using Mulesoft middleware to broker APIs and real-time messages. The integration approach enabled inventory updates propagated across channels within 15 minutes, rapid addition of new stores to the inventory pool, and coordinated order routing between warehouses and stores for hop logic and split shipments. Governance and operational rollout were executed as part of an enterprise omnichannel program led with a named solution partner, with process changes for store fulfilment, returns and automated exchange flows.
