RELEX Solutions Legacy RELEX Inventory Planning Advanced Planning and Scheduling SCM infiniteVIU 2023 2023 In 2023, Fressnapf Holding deployed RELEX Inventory Planning, an Advanced Planning and Scheduling application, to unify supply chain planning across its Fressnapf and Maxi Zoo brands. The deployment targets a retail and wholesale footprint that includes 1,900 stores and 11 distribution centers across 13 countries, bringing planning visibility to store, DC and supplier touch points. The RELEX Inventory Planning implementation concentrates on digital twin modelling and scenario planning capabilities to support a flexible Sales & Operations Planning process, with configuration focusing on DC level forecasting and automated order proposal generation. Functional modules implemented include demand forecasting, order proposal orchestration, delivery flow smoothing, capacity management and supplier collaboration, and the solution is positioned to support agile replenishment cadence across channels. Implementation partner infiniteVIU is responsible for rollout and configuration, and the program preserves the option to integrate RELEX space planning in the future without adding a separate tool. The program explicitly interweaves supply chain planning for wholesale and retail, aligning planning data models and master data to enable consistent scenario simulations and S&OP runbooks across business units. Governance changes emphasize centralized planning ownership within Supply Chain and Logistics and the establishment of an integrated S&OP workflow, moving planning processes from siloed teams into coordinated cross functional cycles. The RELEX solution provides Fressnapf with transparent insight into retail and wholesale performance and is intended to increase the accuracy of order proposals and forecasts at the distribution center level, improving planning predictability across the network.

Ehrhardt + Partner Legacy EPG ONE Supply Chain Control Tower (TIMESQUARE) Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2018 2018 In 2018 Fressnapf Holding deployed EPG ONE Supply Chain Control Tower TIMESQUARE as an Analytics and BI application in its Krefeld central warehouse. The control tower was first introduced in the automated small parts warehouse in 2018 and subsequently expanded to additional warehouse areas through a phased rollout. The deployment focused on real time dashboards and KPI monitoring to provide operational visibility for automated small parts handling and wider warehouse operations. The solution from Ehrhardt + Partner used TIMESQUARE native analytics and event monitoring capabilities to consolidate telemetry and operational events. TIMESQUARE was configured to surface exceptions, SLA breaches and throughput KPIs for operations managers. Integrations were executed with EPG LFS, WCS, TMS and WFM solutions to link warehouse management, material flow control, transport planning and workforce management data into a unified control tower view. Operational scope centers on the Krefeld central warehouse with rollout extending visibility and orchestration to other warehouse zones. The implementation impacted warehouse operations, fulfillment coordination and workforce scheduling processes. The deployment increased transparency, reduced costs and improved productivity as reported in vendor materials. Governance shifted toward centralized KPI monitoring and exception driven workflows to improve process reliability across automated and manual warehouse areas.
