| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Fujitsu Australia implemented SAP S/4 HANA as the core ERP Financial platform for a targeted CAPEX initiative. The program was executed to transition key financial and capital expenditure capabilities from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4 HANA, with a formal project window running from October 2016 to February 2017 and technologies noted as SAP S/4 HANA, Fujitsu Edgeware and Run My Process.
The implementation centered on financial modules and CAPEX workflows typical of an ERP Financial deployment, and included the development of a Fujitsu IP S4 Add-on Accelerator to simplify integration patterns. The S4 Add-on was designed to standardize financial master data flows and capital project accounting, and to encapsulate integration logic to reduce bespoke point to point interfaces.
Integrations were a primary signal, the project coordinated integration scenarios between SAP S/4 HANA and the existing SAP ERP ECC 6.0 landscape while establishing connectivity to Fujitsu Edgeware for IoT event ingestion and to Run My Process for process orchestration. Operational coverage emphasized finance, capital project teams and IoT operations across Fujitsu Australia, with interoperability maintained between S/4 HANA and remaining ECC components during the transition.
Governance and delivery followed an AGILE SCRUM approach, with a Project Manager responsible for coordinating remote resource capacity and availability, tracking time and budget, managing risk registers and facilitating SCRUM sessions. Regular executive and stakeholder reporting was part of the rollout cadence, and the engagement focused on creating repeatable integration patterns and controlled release of the S4 Add-on Accelerator to support financial and process orchestration workflows.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Fujitsu Australia implemented SAP HCM (HR) as its Core HR platform to centralize employee master data and support ongoing Post Merger Integration activities across the region. The deployment was positioned to standardize HR processes for Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand and to provide a single source of record for People & Culture workflows while supporting integration of recently acquired entities.
The SAP HCM (HR) implementation covered core HR functional capabilities typical of Core HR applications, including employee master data and organizational management, absence and leave management, time and attendance interfacing, payroll-related data feeds, and core HR reporting and security configurations. Configuration work emphasized regional payroll and statutory compliance settings for Australia and New Zealand, role based access control for HR and payroll teams, and standard HR process modeling to align onboarding, position management, and workforce changes.
Integration work was driven by the Post Merger Integration steering committee and focused on consolidating HR data from acquired companies into the SAP HCM (HR) environment, establishing payroll interfaces and recurring data feeds, and aligning HR service delivery between People & Culture and Technology teams. The implementation supported cross functional operational coverage for HR, Payroll and People & Culture, with the Senior Business Systems Analyst role operating as the intermediary to translate business requirements into system configurations and integration acceptance criteria.
Governance and rollout were structured around PMI working groups and applied accredited business analysis methodologies alongside agile delivery principles familiar to the organisation. Change governance included stakeholder engagement across functional owners, documented process flows and requirements, and phased integration of acquired entities to minimize operational disruption while embedding standardized HRIS practices.
