| OpSec Security | Legacy | OpSec Security | Application Security (AppSec) | CyberSecurity | n/a | 2018 | 2018 | In 2018 Furla Portugal engaged OpSec Security to deploy OpSec Security in Application Security (AppSec) for brand protection and online marketplace monitoring across its digital supply chain. The engagement was led from Italy and focused on detecting counterfeit listings, channel abuse, and collecting evidentiary artifacts to support legal enforcement actions. The implementation delivered Online Brand Protection, IP Proxy Monitoring and Visual AI capabilities, configured to continuously scan e commerce marketplaces and social media for infringing listings. Workflows automated evidence capture, image based similarity detection and takedown request generation, while maintaining case records for enforcement tracking and legal review. Operational coverage targeted third party marketplaces and social media channels, with monitoring outputs integrated into Furla Portugal enforcement and legal workflows to assemble evidentiary packets for authorities and registries. The solution provided ongoing monitoring across the brand s digital supply chain and a compliance tracking mechanism to follow enforcement outcomes on each platform. The engagement began in 2018 and produced a successful CNIPA invalidation of the FurlaBee trademark in October 2021, with reported enforcement compliance rates of marketplaces 98% and social media 99%. OpSec Security s Online Brand Protection, IP Proxy Monitoring and Visual AI outputs were used to build legal evidence and to govern recurring brand protection operations. |
