The implementation configured LS Nav modules for point of sale transaction processing, inventory and merchandise management, warehouse operations and distribution orchestration, and integrated finance posting for centralized accounting. Standard category workflows such as transaction capture at POS, inventory reservation and replenishment, returns and exchanges, and intersite stock transfers were implemented and configured to align with Furniture Village operational procedures. Architecture and integrations centered on the LS Retail ecosystem, with explicit integration points to Dynamics Anywhere for mobile and field capabilities, hardware integration to bar-code scanners for scanning and stock replenishment, and reporting and analytics pipelines feeding Targit BI, SSRS and Jet Reports for operational and financial reporting. Data flows were organized to move sales and inventory events from LS Nav into enterprise reporting and finance channels to ensure consistent transaction visibility across departments. Governance was led by an implementation team composed of representatives from all operational areas, which drove process change and coordinated configuration across Merchandise, Retail Point of Sale, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Distribution, Customer Service and Finance departments. Rollout emphasized cross-functional ownership of configuration, testing and operational handover to retail and back office teams, embedding LS Nav as the transactional backbone for Furniture Village retail operations.
