In 2015, Galderma implemented Infor M3 as its group accounting platform. Infor M3 Manufacturing ERP was deployed to support finance and operational control across the companys three business units, Prescription, Consumer, and Aesthetic and cosmetic, while complying with Nestle business rules.
The implementation concentrated on core finance and operational modules, including group accounting controls, Purchase to Pay workflows, and Sales Pricing and Discounts configuration. Standard operating procedures were established for Purchase to Pay, sales pricing and discounts, and other key processes, with enforcement mechanisms to ensure adherence.
Galderma served as a beta installation for the new group accounting system Infor M3, making the site an early configuration and testing environment for finance process design. The finance organization responsible for the deployment managed daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles, OPEX budget creation, and a restructured team of five to improve role coverage and knowledge sharing, with logistics functions managed through November 2016.
A new dynamic reporting application was implemented to provide online sales visibility and forward forecasts, and process improvements were applied to better leverage captured data for reporting and management information. Governance changes included SOP enforcement, closer alignment with the senior leadership team and regional controller, and an operational shift toward continuous change and improved reporting efficiency.
