Accounts Payable staff input invoice and payment data into CDK IntelliDealer Financial Management and performed reconciliations between vendor statements and recorded transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies. Governance and process design incorporated a clear reporting line and approval model, the Accounts Payable Manager reporting to the Controller, with responsibility for supervising and developing the AP team, enforcing vendor setup requirements such as W-9 and COI collection, and implementing tighter GL coding and record keeping procedures. The rollout emphasized operational process changes within Accounts Payable, coordination with Asset Management and operations for PO/receiving compliance, and routine verification processes to maintain data integrity within the Automotive ERP environment.
