In 2020, Wabtec implemented Oracle E-Business Suite in an ERP Financial program. The deployment targeted both finance and integrated supply chain processes across multiple Wabtec sites in the United States and international locations.
Oracle E-Business Suite implementations were driven by subject matter experts on supply chain modules and close coordination with EBS finance teams. Teams configured EBS supply chain setups, executed data conversions, and ran proof of concept validation to confirm functional fit. Workstreams included stakeholder requirement gathering, gap analysis, and business case development to support ROI projections.
Integration work explicitly supported third-party and custom systems interfacing with Oracle E-Business Suite, with sustained support and issue resolution handled by internal staff and external resource providers. Operational coverage extended from shopfloor operations to corporate accounting and engineering, reflecting broad cross-functional adoption.
Governance and process transformation were coordinated with OPEX to align EBS processes to business operation requirements and excellence. Rollout activities addressed installations tied to mergers and acquisitions and phased site-level deployments across regions. Documentation, gap remediation plans, and POCs were used to validate changes and guide phased sustainment and handoff to operations.

In 2019, Wabtec implemented Workday Benefits, replacing Oracle Peoplesoft Benefits Administration. The Workday Benefits implementation was delivered as part of a broader Workday deployment across Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Time and Attendance, and Payroll modules, aligning benefits workflows with core HR data models.
Configuration work centered on Benefits Administration functionality in Workday Benefits, including benefit plan setup, eligibility rule configuration, and benefits-related security design. The team used Workday Enterprise Interface Builder EIBs for data conversion activities tied to acquisitions and ongoing data feeds, and performed configuration and enhancement work across the named Workday modules.
Operational integrations and handoffs included ticket driven work distribution via ServiceNow to HRIS Analysts, coordination with third party service providers for specialist tasks, and maintenance of Workday Community accounts to support the HR team. The implementation covered HRIS operations and benefits administration workflows managed from the company HR function and supported by HRIS analysts located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Governance and operational controls emphasized maintenance of Security Groups, assignees, and ongoing security administration, with status and metrics reported to upper level management. Contract monitoring of third party service providers and structured ServiceNow-based change and request processes were established to sustain benefits configuration and support ongoing Workday Benefits operations.

| Itus Digital | Legacy | Itus Digital APM | Asset Performance Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Wabtec implemented Itus Digital APM. The deployment used Itus Digital APM as a core Asset Performance Management capability to improve visibility into equipment condition across Wabtec manufacturing operations.
The implementation emphasized modules common to Asset Performance Management, including condition monitoring, predictive analytics for failure detection, asset health scoring, anomaly detection, alarm management, and maintenance planning workflows. Itus Digital APM was configured to ingest time series telemetry and sensor data to feed analytics and condition assessments, with configurable rules and models to support automated alerting and health scoring.
Operational scope focused on maintenance, reliability engineering, and operations teams within Wabtec, instrumenting critical assets and establishing standardized asset data models and dashboards for operational users. The deployment included role based access controls for engineering and maintenance roles and instrumented alerting and visualization to support shift teams and reliability engineers.
Governance and process workstreams addressed definition of asset hierarchies, configuration of alarm thresholds, and handover of analytics outputs into maintenance planning and work execution processes, aligning workflows to condition based maintenance practices. Wabtec leadership noted that Itus Digital has one of the most experienced teams in the APM sector and their solution reflects their expertise, said Henro Van Wyk, VP and GM of Digital Mine at Wabtec.
