In 2017, Geodis UK implemented ADP HR.net as its Core HR application. ADP HR.net was managed by the HR function at GEODIS UK LTD in the London Area and served HR administrators and directors to support companywide employee lifecycle administration for a 374 employee operation.
Configuration and functional modules centered on employee master data and electronic personnel records, employee self service workflows for onboarding and probation, absence management including sick and maternity tracking, benefits administration such as voucher management, and reporting for KPIs, headcount, sickness and holiday. The platform was also used to generate contracts, probation documentation, leaver processing, exit interviews and redundancy correspondence, and to manage the whole employee lifecycle end to end.
Operational linkages included management of an internal system called G-Talent alongside ADP HR.net, routine handoffs to the payroll department for payroll processing, and preparation of TUPE packs and consultation documents. Routine administration covered monthly reporting, maintenance of digital records and supporting ad hoc HR initiatives such as pay reviews, annual bonuses and appraisals through the ADP HR.net user interface.
Governance and workflow responsibilities were retained within HR, with structured processes for employee relations casework including grievances, appeals and disciplinaries, and for large scale HR events such as a full business restructure and redundancy program where HR calculated redundancy payments and conducted consultations.
