Workday Oracle PeopleSoft ERP Workday Financial Management ERP Financial ERP n/a 2018 2019
In 2018, Georgia Institute of Technology implemented Workday Financial Management in an ERP Financial program, replacing Oracle PeopleSoft ERP and targeting a campus-wide consolidation of core financial systems with a go live date of July 2019. The implementation was explicitly staged as a multi-month program culminating in the July 2019 go-live and focused on institutional financial operations. Workday Financial Management was configured to deliver core ERP Financial capabilities, including general ledger management, accounts payable and procure-to-pay workflows, financial reporting, and period close orchestration. Configuration work emphasized business process definitions, security role design, and tenant setup to align chart of accounts mapping and transaction processing with campus accounting policies. Leadership for the deployment included strategy development, tasks management, vendor relationship management, and governance, with implementation oversight extending through testing, cutover coordination, and go-live readiness. Program governance structures were used to sequence project tasks and maintain stakeholder accountability across finance and administrative leadership. Operational scope centered on financial operations and impacted accounting, procurement, and campus finance administration, establishing standardized financial processes and controls consistent with ERP Financial system practices. The project narrative documents a centralized program approach to implementing Workday Financial Management across Georgia Tech’s finance function.

Equifax Legacy Equifax I-9 Anywhere HR Compliance HCM n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 Georgia Institute of Technology implemented Equifax I-9 Anywhere to support HR Compliance for employee onboarding and I-9 verification across the institute. The deployment was positioned to serve onboarding workflows for staff, facility personnel, affiliates, and student assistants. Equifax I-9 Anywhere was configured to manage electronic I-9 completion, document capture and verification workflows, with audit tracking surfaced through the Equifax Compliance Center system. Configuration emphasized role based access for HR administrators and designated verifiers, and workflow orchestration consistent with HR Compliance operational terminology. Operational coverage included onboarding over 5,000 staff, facility, affiliates and student assistants annually, and began to codify counseling orientation activities such as benefit enrollment, state tax and federal tax selection, emergency contact collection, I-9 completion, personal data intake, and security affidavit questionnaire processing. The Equifax Compliance Center system was used to resolve fewer than 50 monthly audits for new hire onboarding completion, and institutional HR teams addressed roughly 200 employee inquiries or claims monthly with guidance or collaboration enabled by the system. Governance focused on audit monitoring inside the Compliance Center, centralized I-9 record retention and defined HR workflows for onboarding approvals and audit resolution. The implementation integrated with existing benefits enrollment, payroll tax, and security intake processes to enforce verifier assignments and compliance reporting for HR Compliance and personnel administration functions.
