In 2020, GloryBee implemented Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) as its core ERP Financial system to centralize accounting and payment flows across the business. The deployment targeted the company’s two Oregon locations and extended to mobile point of sale used at trade shows, aligning finance, sales and IT workflows for a company with roughly 120 employees and an established direct and wholesale customer base.
The Sage Business Cloud X3 deployment emphasized financial management capabilities, including general ledger consolidation, accounts receivable orchestration and automated reconciliation processes consistent with ERP Financial implementations. Configuration work focused on capturing payment transactions, posting them into the G/L without manual entry and enabling cohesive month end close procedures, while preserving role-based access for finance and accounting teams.
Integrations were a central component of the implementation, the site integrated Sage Business Cloud X3 with Sage Inventory Advisor, Sage Enterprise Intelligence, Sage CRM and Sage Mobile to align inventory visibility, reporting and customer records with financial posting. Payment processing was integrated via Sage Payment Solutions, with payment data encrypted at the terminal and within the accounting software, and mobile acceptance configured so transactions captured on pads and phones flow immediately into the accounting ledger.
Operational governance shifted to a centralized payment reconciliation model, reducing disparate payment methods into a single account for month end reconciliation and improving accountability for cash receipts across locations and field sales. Reported outcomes included improved cash flow visibility, faster reconciliation and time savings in accounting tasks, increased ability to accept mobile payments at events which broadened sales coverage, and strengthened payment security assurances for customers.
