| eClinicalWorks | Legacy | eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR | Electronic Health Record | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, GoHealth Urgent Care implemented eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR as its Electronic Health Record. The cloud-hosted eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR was used to centralize clinical documentation and patient charting across urgent care workflows at GoHealth sites, including documented activity in Long Island, NY where Advanced Clinical Associates fulfilled medical scribe responsibilities.
The implementation focused on core clinical modules for encounter documentation, vitals capture, point of care test result entry, order entry, and results management for referrals, laboratory findings, and imaging reports. Clinical staff used eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR to record intake vitals and to capture point of care procedures, configuring templates and encounter flows to support common urgent care testing and documentation needs.
Operational coverage included front-end intake and triage, provider documentation, nursing and Advanced Clinical Associate tasks, and referral and lab result workflows. The eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR environment supported consolidation of patient records and clinical notes, and integration points were established for inbound lab and imaging results and for managing referral artifacts without naming specific third-party vendors.
Governance and workflow restructuring emphasized scribe-driven charting and standardized intake processes, with Advanced Clinical Associates entering exam rooms first to perform vitals and point of care testing. Point of care procedures captured in the system included COVID-19, influenza, strep throat, ECG, urinalysis, urine culture, hCG, STD, blood glucose, and mononucleosis testing, while documentation templates were extended to record assistance with procedures such as laceration suturing, abscess drainage, and burn treatment, supported by basic phlebotomy training for clinical staff.
