In 2015 Good Eggs began initial steps to implement Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform, initiating a multi system program to stabilize finance and support company wide operations. The program ran alongside parallel implementations of WMS HighJump and HCM Dayforce as the business prepared to bring a second fulfillment center online in Oakland, California.
The Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation focus was on core finance capabilities, with configuration work scoped to general ledger orchestration, accounts payable workflows, and accounts receivable processes to centralize financial data. Oracle NetSuite ERP was positioned as the primary record for transactional finance while payroll execution and HR data remained operationally anchored in HCM Dayforce.
Integration planning emphasized data flows between NetSuite, HighJump, and Dayforce to align inventory valuation, order to cash sequences, and payroll chargebacks to cost centers supporting fulfillment operations. Operational coverage spanned finance, payroll, fulfillment, and company wide teams, with integration points defined to synchronize order, inventory and HR payroll datasets across systems.
Governance was organized around phased rollout activities, including configuration, integration testing, and cutover planning coordinated with the Oakland fulfillment center launch and ongoing WMS and HCM deployments. Early work consisted of provisioning Oracle NetSuite ERP tenant environments, mapping chart of accounts, and establishing cross functional controls to support broader ERP adoption across finance and operations.

| CheckR | Legacy | CheckR | BackGround Screening | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Good Eggs implemented Checkr for BackGround Screening to support high-volume hiring tied to a recent facility expansion. The deployment focused on operationalizing candidate screening across talent acquisition and onboarding functions for the company’s West Oakland fulfillment center, with the objective of scaling hiring workflows to staff a facility four times larger than the prior site.
The implementation uses Checkr modules including Criminal Background Check and Adjudication, plus Checkr’s pre-adverse and post-adverse decisioning workflows to support fair chance hiring policies. Checkr was configured to filter out charges deemed irrelevant to front-line fulfillment roles, which enabled Good Eggs to apply consistent adjudication rules and reduce bias during candidate evaluation while maintaining compliance with adverse action requirements.
Checkr is integrated directly with Good Eggs’ applicant tracking system, Fountain, enabling recruiters to move multiple applicants into background checks from the ATS and accelerate volume onboarding. Operational usage included weekly recruiting rhythms of roughly 40 interviews with as many as 20 candidates entering background checks, a single job fair weekend with over 350 interviews and 400 candidates interviewed and background checked from that event, and an annual run rate near 900 background checks tied to fulfillment hiring. The deployment also incorporated mobile app-enabled onboarding to streamline candidate completion of screening steps.
Governance and process changes centered on formalizing fair chance hiring commitments with internal adjudication rules and an external partnership with the West Oakland Job Resource Center to meet a 25 percent local hire objective. The Checkr implementation supported compliance and candidate experience improvements, and Good Eggs reports that the Checkr products have greatly reduced the risk of hiring individuals who could be a liability to the company while enabling faster, higher-volume onboarding.

In 2020, Good Eggs implemented Snowflake Data Warehouse, deploying the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform as their Data Warehouse to centralize operational and customer event data. The Bay Area grocery delivery company consolidated analytics for delivery, warehouse operations, and commercial reporting into Snowflake to support data analysts and data scientists.
The Snowflake Data Warehouse configuration emphasized separation of storage and compute, near-zero management, and instant scalability of storage and compute to simplify workload management. Good Eggs uses Snowflake JSON capabilities to destructure Segment event payloads and configures independent compute warehouses to allocate CPU per workload, preventing query contention and simplifying workload management.
Good Eggs integrates Segment Customer Data Platform to stream custom JSON events into Snowflake, enabling low-latency ingestion that feeds the companys proprietary Warehouse Management Software for operational monitoring and optimization. Mode Analytics queries Snowflake tables to generate dashboards and reports used by Warehouse Operations to track delivery routes and by business teams to review average order value and gross margin.
Operational scope includes platform engineering, data analytics, warehouse operations, and commercial teams across San Francisco and surrounding delivery regions. The platform team planned to automate daily ingestion using Snowpipe and is evaluating Snowflake Secure Data Sharing to provision governed datasets to internal business units and external partners, formalizing data-access workflows and reducing manual ETL effort.
Near-zero maintenance and elastic scalability freed platform engineers from day-to-day troubleshooting and resolved prior query performance bottlenecks by enabling independent query execution and compute tuning. Snowflake Data Warehouse provided Good Eggs with simplified infrastructure management and faster time to insight for analytics and operational reporting.
