ISAAC Instruments Legacy ISAAC Instruments Fleet Management SCM n/a 2024 2024
In 2024 Grant Group of Companies Canada implemented ISAAC Instruments as a Fleet Management solution. The deployment was the first ISAAC client project to leverage ISAAC Instruments cloud integration with the Trimble Innovative Access Plus TMS to connect vehicle telematics to a transportation management system for improved dispatch and operations in Ontario. ISAAC Instruments was configured to deliver telemetry and electronic logging device capabilities together with TMS integration, aligning vehicle telemetry and ELD feeds into the Trimble Transportation Cloud. The architecture centralized real time vehicle location, status, and ELD events inside the TMS to support dispatch orchestration and driver connectivity, reflecting standard Fleet Management functional workflows. The implementation scope covered fleet operations in Ontario and included commissioning and driver onboarding workflows. Commissioning was reported as smooth, and the deployment improved driver onboarding and in cab connectivity while strengthening alignment between operations and dispatch functions.
