Tata Consultancy Services Legacy TCS iON Digital Campus Education ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2014 2015
In 2014 Great Lakes Institute of Management implemented TCS iON Digital Campus as an Education ERP to address a multi-step admissions workflow, fragmented inter-department information flow and a complex trimester scheduling requirement for visiting faculty. The deployment targeted admissions, academics, the resource center and hostel administration to create a centralized database and provide real-time reporting for academic and administrative decision making. TCS iON Digital Campus was configured with eight eForms and an Admission Module that included two ranking logics to automate multi-parameter applicant scoring, and a recommenders form with copy form functionality to reduce manual data entry. On Demand Reports and Biz Analytics were provisioned for admissions, academics and the resource center, and the Academics module included an auto time table feature plus an industry acceptable timetable print format to accommodate visiting faculty availability and printing requirements. The solution was delivered as a single service cloud offering on a pay-as-you-use model, combining software, network and hardware provisioning with automated upgrades and back-up data center continuity. Workflow Configurator capabilities were used to orchestrate inter-department processes, creating automated sequences for after counseling activities such as document scrutiny and fee collection, academic tasks including roll number generation, section allocation and ID card printing, and hostel room allocation. Governance changes centered on automated workflows to enforce process handoffs across admissions, academic administration and hostel services, reducing manual interventions and the possibility of human error in rank calculations. The implementation delivered centralized reporting and scheduling automation, and vendor documentation states the pay-as-you-use model and managed service approach typically results in the ROI exceeding rental within three months when best practices are followed.

Zoom Video Communications Legacy Zoom Audio Video and Web Conferencing Collaboration n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Great Lakes Institute of Management implemented Zoom to support remote instruction, staff collaboration, and external-facing events. The deployment uses the Audio Video and Web Conferencing category to provide virtual classroom sessions, faculty meetings, and public webinars, and Zoom is embedded on the institute website to allow students and external attendees to join sessions directly from campus pages. The Zoom instance is provisioned for academic and administrative business functions across the institute in India, sized to the operational profile of a 300 employee higher education organization. The implementation reflects central provisioning for course delivery and campus communications rather than isolated departmental pilots. Configuration focuses on core Audio Video and Web Conferencing capabilities including scheduled meetings, webinar hosting, recording, screen sharing, and participant management. Operational governance is organized through central IT and academic technology teams to control host privileges, access settings, and recording retention workflows, and to manage website-embedded join links and public session pages. The rollout aligns Zoom application management with teaching delivery and administrative meeting workflows, using role based controls and standard conferencing administration to support campus operations.

Contentsquare Legacy Hotjar Customer Experience CRM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Great Lakes Institute of Management implemented Hotjar on its public website. Great Lakes Institute of Management deployed Hotjar for Customer Experience to capture session recordings, heatmaps, conversion funnels, and on-page feedback widgets, aligning qualitative user behavior signals with quantitative analytics. Hotjar was configured to support qualitative UX research and visitor feedback collection for the institute's website. Deployment used a client-side JavaScript snippet embedded across public pages to instrument visitor sessions and aggregate behavior data, following standard customer experience implementation patterns for session replay and heatmapping. Operational ownership rested with digital marketing and web operations, who used Hotjar outputs to inform page design, content prioritization, and form optimization. Governance included tagging strategy, sampling configuration, and consent-aware data capture to limit collection scope and support internal reporting workflows.
