| SETL | Legacy | SETL IZNES Blockchain | Blockchain Platform | Blockchain | n/a | 2017 | 2017 | In 2017 Groupama Asset Management deployed SETL IZNES Blockchain, a Blockchain Platform, to support pan European fund record keeping and distribution channel compatibility. The implementation is based on proprietary technology developed by SETL, with functional specifications defined in line with user input and contributions from participating asset managers. SETL IZNES Blockchain was configured to provide distributed ledger record keeping, transaction validation, and settlement orchestration consistent with fund record keeping use cases, enabling reduced transaction costs, increased transparency, and optimized operational workflow. The platform is described as compatible with all distribution channels and as a foundation to enable new value added services for asset managers and their intermediaries. The initial version of SETL IZNES Blockchain was delivered by SETL in July 2017 and validated by OFI AM, Groupama AM, La Financière de l’Échiquier, and Arkéa Investment Services, signaling a collaborative validation model with industry participants. Following validation, SETL and its partners engaged other interested parties to develop an enriched version, with an intention to move towards production in early 2018. Governance and rollout were organized around user driven functional specifications and partner validation, supporting phased enrichment of features and interoperability with existing fund distribution workflows. Operational coverage focused on asset management record keeping and back office orchestration across participating firms, with ongoing development coordinated between SETL and the initial validating asset managers. |
