In 2015, Groupe Beaumanoir deployed SAP Business Suite on HANA configured in Retail mode as its ERP Financial backbone. The implementation targeted the companys international fashion and ready to wear retail operations, aligning financial consolidation and reporting across its multi-brand, multi-country footprint and supporting an organization of roughly 7,000 employees.
The SAP Business Suite on HANA deployment emphasized core financial modules typical of ERP Financial systems, including centralized general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, consolidation and financial reporting capabilities. Configuration focused on retail-specific accounting flows and chart of accounts harmonization to support store transactions, merchandise accounting and period close processes.
Architecturally the environment runs on the SAP HANA database to enable in memory processing for transactional finance and accelerated reporting, with the SAP Business Suite configured for retail operations to link merchandising and store financial events with central finance. Integrations were implemented to align retail operational workflows with financial posting and reporting, enabling end to end financial visibility from store level to corporate close.
Governance and operational ownership were structured around internal finance and IT teams, with PM Progress Management providing advisory and implementation expertise. This combination supported configuration governance, ongoing support processes and a rollout cadence intended to keep the ERP Financial solution aligned with Groupe Beaumanoirs growth trajectory.
The project delivered a scalable, retail tuned SAP Business Suite on HANA environment that Groupe Beaumanoir can operate and evolve, enabling the organization to maintain financial operations and reporting in line with its stated growth ambitions.

Configuration work included storefront templating, catalog provisioning, commerce-specific data modeling, and performance-oriented tuning consistent with enterprise eCommerce patterns.
Technical architecture work assessed integration points and platform interoperability, with technologies examined including SAP BI 4, SAP Hybris components, SIRH Pléiades plus DSN, QlikView, MDM Semarchy, Openbravo, and IBM SPSS. The technical environment documentation listed supported operating systems such as Windows Server 2008 and 2012 R2, RedHat and Debian Linux distributions, and database platforms including SQL Server, Oracle 11g-12c, Sybase IQ and PostgreSQL, indicating an architecture designed for multi-OS and multi-DB connectivity.
Governance and delivery emphasized technical project management and onsite supervision of the installation team, along with iterative improvement of installed IT systems. Implementation activities included drafting a detailed technical architecture document and developing and executing test regimes, specifically unit tests, load tests and high availability tests, to validate stability and scalability within the eCommerce implementation.
