SAP SAP R/3 SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2011 2011
In 2011, Grupo Ultra migrated from SAP R/3 to SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as part of an ERP Financial program designed to centralize transactional financial operations. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation established the enterprise financial ledger and supported consolidation workflows across the corporate group. The project included implementation of SAP BW to support decision making for senior management and deployment of SAP BPC for the consolidation of companies. A database migration was executed to optimize technological resources and to improve data availability and throughput into the SAP BW data warehouse and SAP BPC consolidation processes. Business consulting services were applied to reconfigure logistics processes and align supply chain transactional flows with financial posting rules inside SAP ERP ECC 6.0. Integrations focused on feeding transactional data from logistics and finance modules in SAP ERP ECC 6.0 into SAP BW and SAP BPC for consolidated reporting and management analytics. Operational coverage spanned finance, consolidation teams and logistics functions, enabling senior management access to integrated decision support and consolidated financial statements. Grupo Ultra performed a business assessment for a future SAP S4HANA implementation and established a service desk to provide predictive, evolutionary and normative support for the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 landscape. Governance adjustments emphasized consolidated reporting ownership, ongoing database optimization, and a support model aligned to both operational users and executive consumers of SAP BW and SAP BPC outputs.
