Infor Legacy Infor SunSystems ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2016
In 2015 Hamilton Underwriting Limited implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial platform, with delivery overseen on behalf of the Head of Operations & IT. The project completed the SunSystems implementation and established a single financial application foundation for the company. The Infor SunSystems deployment concentrated on core ERP Financial capabilities, including configuration of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable modules and financial reporting workflows aligned to insurance accounting practices. Configuration work emphasized chart of accounts rationalization, period close orchestration and role based financial controls consistent with an insurer environment. The Infor SunSystems rollout was delivered alongside additional solutions for the Claims, Actuarial and Compliance teams, specifically Enterprise Task Management, Workflow, SharePoint 2013 and the Hamilton UK BCP initiative. These components were implemented to coordinate case level tasks, automate approval flows and provide a document management and business continuity layer that interfaces operationally with finance activities. Governance activity focused on embedding Workflow and Enterprise Task Management into day to day processes for Claims, Actuarial and Compliance, formalizing approval authorities and task ownership across teams. SharePoint 2013 was used as the content repository and Hamilton UK BCP provided continuity planning, while SunSystems served as the central ERP Financial system for accounting and reporting.
