The implementation work documented standard and custom data targets, transformation logic, data sources and DTPs, and supported management cockpits through SEM components including BPC, CPM and scorecards, as well as operational dashboards built with Crystal Xcelsius.
Integration scope explicitly included a BW-CRM solution and a Waste management BI solution, with SAP BW used to surface BVPI reporting and ad-hoc universes for BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports users. BEx Broadcaster was implemented across business managers to distribute reports, and SAP BW/BI universes were created to enable self-service reporting for ad-hoc users.
Governance covered the change request process and work estimation for SAP BW, ongoing BW functional and technical support, and user training on BusinessObjects and Crystal reporting. Governance and data quality processes were established by analyzing source system data, working with technical and business representatives to define handling for data anomalies, and enabling self service consumption of reports. The engagement produced six Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards built from roughly 50,000 activity records covering man hour and quantity resources, budgets, trends, variances, and dynamic reporting periods.
