In 2013 Hawaiian Airlines implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP as its ERP Financial platform to centralize accounting and revenue processes. The program began in March 2013 and targeted the airline finance organization, explicitly addressing revenue accounting for more than two billion dollars in annual revenue.
The implementation included integration of a vendor-hosted revenue accounting system and a credit card management system with Oracle PeopleSoft ERP, and it included a migration of the companys existing vendor-hosted Travel and Expense tooling to Concur Travel and Expense. Oracle PeopleSoft ERP was configured to receive posted revenue accounting entries and expense data, creating an end-to-end ERP Financial flow between revenue accounting, travel and expense, and core accounting records.
Governance and execution were led by a Senior IT Project Manager working closely with the Accounting Team to coordinate data migration, interface development, and process mapping across finance operations. Operational coverage focused on corporate finance and revenue accounting functions across Hawaiian Airlines, with integration work emphasized to align Concur Travel and Expense and the vendor-hosted revenue accounting system to Oracle PeopleSoft ERP.
