Haynes International in 2025 selected Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as the successor to Microsoft Dynamics AX, initiating a multi-project D365 F&O program focused on their manufacturing environment. The implementation is organized as a program-level delivery covering finance and manufacturing functions rather than a single uplift project, with a dedicated D365 Program Manager role based in Kokomo, IN responsible for program governance, roadmaps, resource coordination, and stakeholder escalation.
The program explicitly targets core D365 modules for manufacturing and finance: Production Control, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Finance (with SCM/production-related functionality referenced), and includes typical factory-focused activities such as As-Is/To-Be process analysis, system configuration, SIT/UAT, end-user training, and post-go-live support. The role specification calls for Agile/iterative delivery experience and familiarity with Azure DevOps/DevOps practices, indicating the implementation will be managed through iterative project governance, cross-functional teams, and formal change-management processes spanning Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Inventory, and Warehouse functions.

| DXC Technology | Legacy | DXC Eclipse DAXEAM | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014 Haynes International implemented DXC Eclipse DAXEAM from DXC Technology as its Enterprise Asset Management platform. The deployment positioned DXC Eclipse DAXEAM as the enterprise asset management layer within a broader Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP landscape, supporting asset lifecycle and maintenance execution across manufacturing sites.
DXC Eclipse DAXEAM was configured to manage asset master records, maintenance work orders, and preventive maintenance scheduling, while interoperating with AX modules for production control, inventory and warehouse management, procurement and sourcing, and finance. The implementation aligned asset management processes with existing AX capabilities such as product information management, inventory transactions, and quality testing modules to ensure operational continuity.
Integration and data migration efforts used ETL processes that imported high volume transactional and master data into the combined AX and DAXEAM environment. During the Dynamics AX 2012 implementation phase the project processed over 250,000 G/L journal transactions, 40,000 items, 10,000 customers, 3,500 vendors and thousands of orders, bills of materials and inventory journal lines, demonstrating the scale of data conversion that supported the DXC Eclipse DAXEAM rollout. The operational scope included finance, procurement to pay, order to cash, distribution and warehousing, production operations and master data management across expanded geographies.
Project governance was managed through a multi stakeholder project lead team and oversight of implementation partners and technology vendors including Crowe, Eclipse and Microsoft, with vendor coordination extending to IBM, ACOM, Globalsoft and BCD ESDI as recorded in project records. Internal IT leadership supervised a small application team, systems development and integration tasks, and ongoing IT compliance activities to maintain Sarbanes Oxley reporting and controls while embedding DXC Eclipse DAXEAM into enterprise processes.
