The implementation includes explicit integrations with Pega for customer service call center workflows, Care Connect 360 for MDHHS interactions, EPIC at Henry Ford Health for EHR data, and a Michigan Health Information Network ADT feed for admissions and discharges. MiHIN provides immediate notification of member utilization from inpatient hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and emergency departments, and CarePort ingests and cleanses that facility data to provide an online patient history and to surface laboratory results into the member summary and transitions of care record.
Operational access and governance are scoped to secure read only access for Case Management, Utilization Management, Quality Management, and Program Development teams, enabling coordinated reviews and interventions. The combined architecture emphasizes real time utilization alerts, consolidated member summaries, and structured risk stratification workflows to align care management and population health activities.
