In 2020, HealthPartners implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as the finance core within an enterprise-wide Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite deployment, classifying the system under the ERP Financial category. The project centralized finance functions while extending cloud deployments to supply chain and human capital management to support more than 26,000 colleagues across the organization.
The implementation configured Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning alongside Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain and Manufacturing and Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management to address payroll requirements, critical supply chain workflows, and core financial accounting. HealthPartners migrated financial processing from Infor Lawson and consolidated a landscape that previously included more than 40 applications, a change the organization terms intended to simplify processes and reduce third-party applications by up to 80 percent.
Oracle Cloud ERP was integrated into a broader Oracle application fabric that includes Oracle Health Insurance Enterprise Policy Administration, Oracle Insurance Gateway, and Oracle Revenue Management and Billing, supporting improved billing processes, compliance to new regulations and pricing rules, and auditable premium calculations. The deployment is described as cloud-based and integrated, increasing visibility into critical business metrics for finance, supply chain, HR, and revenue management functions that serve 1.2 million patients and 1.8 million members in Minnesota, the upper Midwest, and nationally.
Governance and workflow changes focused on standardizing and streamlining work across finance, supply chain, and HR to enhance employee experience and operational consistency. HealthPartners positioned Oracle Cloud ERP and the Fusion Cloud suite to modernize business processes, increase business visibility, and enable lower costs as explicit outcomes stated by the organization.

In 2010, HealthPartners implemented Infor Lawson Benefits Administration as part of an LSF9 Technology and 9.0.0 Applications upgrade program. The engagement was managed through PMO methodology and focused on embedding Benefits Administration capabilities into the broader Lawson application stack.
Workstreams included configuration of benefits enrollment, eligibility management and benefits lifecycle workflows typical of Benefits Administration, alongside preparation of project and hardware requirement proposals for Lawson, peopleclick, Mobile supply chain, Performance Impact, Kronos and AFM budget systems. The program also covered proposals for Lawson ERP modules that include Human resources, Benefits, Payroll, Financials and Procurement, aligning application configuration with enterprise capacity planning.
Operational execution required coordinated task management with UNIX hosting, network and database teams during upgrade windows and for ongoing support. The implementation managed interfaces with people click, Kronos, PICIS, sum total and performance Impact, ensuring connectivity between benefits administration and workforce, scheduling, talent and supply chain applications. This scope placed the work squarely across HR and payroll business functions and into enterprise application integration boundaries.
Governance relied on formal PMO processes to sequence upgrades, produce hardware requirement documentation and coordinate multi-team rollouts. The project team participated in and successfully implemented SOX and HIPAA compliance controls as part of the application and infrastructure changes. Emphasis on interface management and coordinated upgrade sequencing supported ongoing application lifecycle support for Infor Lawson Benefits Administration.

In 2013, HealthPartners implemented Epic ASAP within its clinical systems portfolio and recorded the project under the Clinical Trial Management category. The deployment focused on the Epic ASAP application as a point solution supporting emergency department workflows and clinical documentation processes.
Implementation and configuration work included support across Clin Doc, Orders, and ASAP modules, with ongoing incident and request handling for clinical documentation, ordering workflows, and ED trackboard views. Explicit configuration tasks performed included Orderset updates, an After Visit Summary redesign, Managed Orders and Quicklist builds, upgrades to Trackboard View PAFs, and construction of the ED Map to align ED operations with application workflows.
Operational coverage was centered on HealthPartners Saint Paul, MN facilities and emphasized Emergency Department operations, clinical documentation, orders management, and care coordination workflows. Governance relied on a ticket driven support model with assigned projects to prioritize configuration changes and service ticket resolution for incidents and requests.
Ongoing staffing and sustainment included a temporary Epic Clinical Analyst at HealthPartners from May 2015 to September 2015 who provided backfill support and completed assigned projects while maintaining Epic ASAP application configuration and operational support. The record links Epic ASAP, Clinical Trial Management, and a governance model oriented to incident management and targeted module optimization.
