Governance controls emphasized access permissions, centralized template management and audit logging to maintain HIPAA safeguards while enabling remote execution of patient documents. Heart-Centered Counseling achieved remote signing in compliance with ESIGN, UETA and HIPAA and standardized digital signing across its outpatient services, saving valuable time during the move to teletherapy.
