In 2024, Heineken Spain implemented MikMak on its public website to add embedded commerce capabilities. The deployment introduces MikMak as the customer facing eCommerce layer for the Spanish site, aligning digital marketing and commercial merchandising with online product discovery.
MikMak was configured to deliver shoppable content and commerce widgets, including product discovery controls, on page merchandising, and client side purchase interaction components. Configuration focused on content authoring workflows and merchandising rules to allow marketing teams to create campaign driven shoppable experiences and update product displays without heavy development cycles.
Operational scope centered on the Spain web property and the companys digital commerce and marketing functions, with rollout staged by page template and campaign cadence. Governance emphasized editorial approval and merchandising change control to manage product placements and campaign timing across the site.
The implementation positions MikMak as an integrated front end commerce experience for Heineken Spain, embedding eCommerce capabilities into site content and enabling marketing led execution of shoppable experiences.
