Configuration and modules implemented emphasized financial operations, with Reynolds and Reynolds ERA-IGNITE used to post payments and process customer receipts, run daily bank reconciliations, and manage wholesale receivables. The system environment was configured to support sales tax return preparation, intercompany account reconciliation and allocations, floorplan account control for vehicle line of credit reconciliation, and maintenance of fixed asset and prepaid schedules, along with routine adjustment and recurrent journal entry processing.
Operational coverage included the finance organization, controller and VP finance teams, and store-level accounting staff, with finance users leveraging the Dealership Management application for payment posting, bank report preparation and positive pay workflows, and to manage wires ACH and transfers as part of authorized bank officer duties. The implementation supported day to day cash management and receivables control while staff provided training and issue resolution for peers during operational use.
