In 2021 HopDrive integrated Hearst Blackbook as part of its Automotive ERP tooling to enable data driven appraisals and expand inventory acquisition workflows. HopDrive integrated Hearst Blackbook to bring published valuation intelligence into consumer pickup and inspection flows, positioning Hearst Blackbook within HopDrive appraisal routing and dealer engagement processes.
The implementation leveraged appraisal and inventory pricing API capabilities from Hearst Blackbook to populate vehicle condition reports and automated valuation fields, an inference aligned with Automotive ERP functionality for appraisal automation. Configuration work focused on mapping Blackbook valuation outputs into HopDrive inspection templates and pricing engines, enabling appraisal responses to be attached to individual vehicle intake records.
Integration scope covered on site and concierge vehicle pickups and virtual inspections, enabling dealers across the United States to receive Black Book enabled appraisals directly from HopDrive pickup events. The integration connected valuation data into HopDrive workflows that support consumer drive ins and dealer lead generation without adding third party integrations beyond Hearst Blackbook.
Operational governance emphasized appraiser workflow changes and lead routing, HopDrive embedding Blackbook valuation checks into inspection sign off and dealer notification processes. The integration improved appraisal accuracy and supported increased dealer lead generation from consumer drive ins and virtual inspections, as reported in the integration announcement.
