Program governance included documented business requirements documents and functional requirement documents, standardized report development and rollout processes, and cross functional collaboration with IT, the Director of Operations, the VP of OR and finance leadership. Financial reporting and dashboards were developed with clinical coding and terminology standards in mind, using ICD and CPT code sets and clinical vocabularies such as LOINC, RxNorm and SNOMED CT to align analytics with billing and clinical workflows.
